Hi! I’m Melissa and I would love to help you enjoy your next weekend getaway. If you're like me, you don’t like leaving your dog or cat with someone who wouldn’t treat them as family. I too, have high standards of care for my dogs so I know the importance of having a sitter you know you can count on. I started out by pet sitting for many of my friends and family members. I wouldn’t get invited on trips- I get told about them excitedly and then asked “can you watch ___?!”Lol. Happens so often I wanted to extend this service to others. I have experience in watching small and large dogs as well as cats. I can stay at your home to keep your furry friend most comfortable. I do work my other job Monday- Friday 8-5 so I am available for drop ins and walks on weeknights and overnight stays on weekends. I update my calendar regularly . I can’t praise Melissa enough! I have an old special needs dog Tootsie who is unable to walk at times, doesn’t eat some days and is very fragile health wise. I needed someone to care for her when I went to work. Melissa was a God send. She is dependable, has never missed a day or been late. Is always available to meet my needs. She has cleaned up my poor girl if she needed it, encourages food and treats (even brought some for her) and takes her for walks in her stroller on nice days. I have complete peace of mind now when I leave for work. Thank you again Rover for putting Melissa in our lives.
Melissa is such a wonderful and responsible pet sitter and is the ONLY ONE we trust with our 6 year old Boxer mix named Piper! Melissa truly is a dog lover and follows YOUR directions that are left while sitting. For example, no table scraps and Piper is NOT allowed on furniture. So many times in the past with other sitters we would come home to Piper acting out of control- jumping on the furniture, begging for food at the dinner table while we are eating and pulling uncontrollably while walking on the leash and so many other unpredictable things that she did not do before we left for our vacation. Melissa would send us a few pics of Piper which we loved to see knowing that she was in good hands! By the way she speaks a "Fluent dog" in which Piper just tilts her head listening to Melissa talk to her, its so incredibly cute! Piper and I HIGHLY recommend Melissa to sit for your pet too!!
