Pet care experience
I'm a floral designer but since the pandemic have worked as an independent contractor delivering food, groceries etc! I would treat your's as my own. I have two cats as you can see on my profile who are like my kids. I've also owned dogs in the past and really just love all animals, scaley to furry! I view them as one of the best parts of a family, and would care for them accordingly. I have over ten years experience dog walking dogs, and doing in home care/short visits/ short to extended stays ( stays and visits including medication administering, bathing/light grooming, special diet preparation and more) sitting with great references upon request. Melissa gave great care to my cat. She's an enthusiastic caregiver & lover of animals. She's always very responsive, and was willing to take on the tough task of administering daily oral meds to my cat. I would recommend her to care for your pet.
Melissa was a great! She went above and beyond of what we expected. Our cat is very timid but Melissa was determined to make her at ease by spending time with her. She is very trust worthy and communicated with us frequently. Our beloved cat was in great hands. We will definitely use Melissa again.
Melissa responded quickly and was able to walk my dog on short notice. She was very enthusiastic and sent pictures of my happy pooch. I'll definitely ask her to walk him again!

I offer in-home care/housesitting. I am happy to houseclean ( I was a professional housecleaning and decorator for years while living in Seattle) and shop for essentials for you prior to returning home from longer stays! We can discuss this when meeting/talking if that is something that is you’re interested in (beyond just maintenance and normal requests like vacuuming etc.) and love being able to do whatever I can to alleviate any anxiety your pet(s) may have about you being away and do whatever I can to help engage them and keep their routines to make them feel secure and happy! I do not sit in-home because I have a small apartment and my cat is here obviously…I only know by word and not experience that she’s “OK around dogs” but “would be happy to never see another cat in her life” according to the rescue organization 😂.

I am a petite person so while I love large dogs, it is difficult for me to walk very high energy, extra large dogs. If they are well behaved and/or not super high energy and huge that is fine with me as they are my favorites! I also don’t feel it would not be responsible of me to agree to walk/jog with more than 2 large dogs at once BUT happy to try a test one with the owner(s) to see if we think it’s a good fit! It’s truly, depending on the situation for example; I walked ( 2 miles each walk or more) two beautiful, very large retired/rescued greyhounds twice a day when I lived in Cleveland named Millie and Lillie. They were a joy and I miss them! They were still strong but quite up there in age, exceedingly well trained and usually very calm! It all depends. A typical day
I love walking dogs and playing with them, and honestly any kind of animal, as I find it very original for myself to do whatever makes them happiest and healthiest! I also just enjoy being active!

Availability
Since I set my own schedule for the foreseeable future doing Independent Contractor work driving ( food and essentials delivery, and passenger rides); I can be very flexible! It is important to note that Thursday- Saturday evenings are my best times to earn so my availability especially with house sitting services will depend on the compensation offered.
