I have been a dog owner for most of my life. I love dogs and there individual personalities, just being around them makes me really happy. I can't imagine my life without one! I always treat my dogs like part of the family, they are my children! I will treat you dog the same way! I have watched my family and friends dogs through the years and have really enjoyed it. I am looking forward to having your dog in my home too. I feel that a home environment is best for the dog when there owner can't be with them. Not to put kennels down, but they can be very stressful for some dogs. We have had first hand experience with that. In fact that is what prompted me to become a dog sitter. What we will try to do is make the best "away from home" experience for your dog. I have a little girl her name is Maggie and she is a beagle / jack russell mix. She loves being around other dogs and playing with them. We have a fenced in back yard that we love to play in and we live in Irvington just minuets from 2 parks, Ellenberger and Christian. That we love to go for walks to get our exercise. I work from home, so I am home for most of the day. There are however some days that I go to meetings, show a home or two, and or run errands. But I would only be gone for 1 to 3 hours at a time. When I do leave I would make sure that If your dog is use to being crated or what there sleeping arrangement is that it is met. I have separate rooms that if need be they can be in there. I also have a husband and a 15 year old son that share in my love for dogs. So if I would need to leave in the late afternoon or evening they would be here. For overnight stays, I know that my little girl Mags sleeps in the bed with us, so your dog can sleep where ever they are most comfortable: couch, floor, crate, or even in bed with us or my son Robby!
