The first time I asked my friend Melissa to dogsit for me was sometime in 2019 when I went to Disney for a family vacation. I have two dogs- one German shepherd named Lilo and one lab/pitbull mix named Beau. Beau is an active, strong, and slight aggressive dog that can be pretty overwhelming to new people. However, as soon as I invited Melissa over to show her how to care for the dogs, Beau immediately fell in love with her. I was shocked, as Beau is normally big and mean with strangers, but was so soft and gentle with Melissa. I had never seen him like that with anybody outside of my family. During my trip, Melissa made sure that my dogs had their food, water, and Beau's special allergy medication. We have cameras on the house and we also saw Melissa play in the backyard with the dogs, which is something we didn't even ask her to do! She went above and beyond. For the past 3 years, whenever we need a dogsitter, we immediately call up Melissa- she is always excited to get to see Beau and Lilo again. I would trust Melissa to take care of even the neediest dog, and I'm not just saying that because she is a good friend. I'm sure Beau would say the same. (:

Melissa was an exceptional sitting while working with our dog. She is an older girl that has some special needs and Melissa met all of them exceptionally. She kept us updated during the entire process and was a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter and will definitely use her again for our girl.
