Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young and I have owned dogs my entire adult life. I have taken care of friends’ and family member’s dogs both at their houses and at mine. Your dog will become part of our family!

Melissa was so kind and flexible! We’re fairly new to the area and haven’t met many folks yet, and our pup hates being boarded at a vet or kennel, so we decided to give Rover a shot. Our trip was to someplace outside of cell service, and Melissa left us confident he would be safe and cared for. She was absolutely the right choice!

I have a golden doodle who is 6 years old and loves to play. She’s OBSESSED with tennis balls so I have plenty! I have toys for your dog to play with as well. I have a walk out basement which has the doggie door and fenced in area. There is a sectional couch and chair which the dogs are allowed to rest on. They will have the run of the lower level and make themselves at home.

A typical day
There are plenty of balls and toys for your fur baby to play with here at my house. I will also take your dog on walks and allow play time in my backyard. I am hoping to have a fully fenced in backyard by this fall for abundant free playtime. I also have an enclosed, elevated deck that the dogs love to sit out on and relax.

Availability
I am an educator so I am home during the summer months. Even when I am teaching I have a doggie door to allow your pet an opportunity to go outside on their own time. The feeding schedule is up to your discretion, but water will be available at all times. I can also walk and exercise your dog as needed. As soon as I increase the size of my fence exercise will come in the form of ball/frisbee throwing and any other outdoor activities. I will treat them just like a member of my family.
