Pet care experience
Hi there! I am a kennel/vet assitant at a vet practice, meaning I help take care of, restrain, treat, etc..our lovely animal patients. I personally have 3 of my own dogs that just love making new friends. I have been a sitter for quite a few years and have had plenty of experience with the many past animals I have had. I will soon be starting a vet tech program, meaning I will be going to school to be a vet nurse. This makes me stand out as careing for animals is not only a hobby. But also my job and what I go to school for! It would mean a lot to me if you would pick me to watch your fur babies. I truly love caring for any and all animals and believe in a good mix of play and relaxation to keep the pups happy! I always want to make the stay comfortable as I know it can be hard not only on owners but also our little ones while being apart. I want to make the stay not only fun but safe and smooth for pets and smooth and unproblematic for owners. My goal is to make sure it is an all around happy experience on all parts! I am very flexible and often work myself around what is needed for each individual animal and/or their owner.

Melissa was great! She was super flexible with me and even dropped my dog off for me as a huge favor because we had a 12 hour drive home. She sent me pictures and was great with communication. Autumn has a great time and we will use Melissa again next time we need a dog sitter!

A typical day
I love going out into the yard to play with the dogs and get there energy out. I especially love to cuddle and relax with them! My dogs love to play and we have a bunch of toys and comfy beds around my house. There is a park a couple streets away from me that I can take dogs out to play at as well.

I work part time at the vet and do college courses, so I am home often which makes it easy to care for your animals.
