My name is Melissa! I am currently in my first year of collage studying Veterinarian Technician at College Boréal in Sudbury. I also have experience working in the cainine field. I worked at Ruff Haus as a dog daycare attendant. In which I have learned a lot about dog behaviour. I am also certified in my Cainine First Aid and CPR. Nothing would make me happier than taking care of your fur baby while you’re away. It would be my plesure to bond with them, take them for long walks, play fetch with them and have some good cuddles. Melissa is wonderful! She has cared for my pup Jack as if her own. She's a great communicator and always keeps me up to date with their adventures. When I needed care for Jack and an extra dog, she was up for the task without hesitation! The 2 could not be more polar opposites in size and energy level but she cared for both with ease. Melissa has been working for my dog daycare, grooming and training facility for over a year and she is a wonderful addition to our team! My dog Elliott is a very sensitive boy and doesn’t do the best when he’s away from us and I was looking for someone to take care of him while I went away. We decided to do a couple “test runs” before I went away to make sure Elliott would be able to handle staying with someone else. Since Melissa has started watching him he’s become obsessed with her and he runs into her house without even looking back at me! She treats him like he’s her own dog and spoils him with lots of long walks, cuddle sessions and frozen yogurt! I feel completely comfortable leaving Elliott with Melissa while I go away and I know that he is going to have so much fun!

I always like to know who your dog’s vet is, if they have an allergies, if they have a specific diet/food rescritions and if they have any spots that they don't like to be touched. I am okay with and have worked with all types of dog breeds before!
A typical day
When your pup is with me, I will take him/her for lots of walks, we with play with their favourite toys and of course we with have lots of cuddle sessions! And if there is anything else that your dog loves to do I would be more than happy to do that too!
