I have a great passion for animals and more than 11 years working alongside many different species. Currently, I am a lead volunteer at a Sanctuary, where I help clean and care for rescue animals such as dogs, cats, cows, pigs, and goats. Previously, I was a volunteer in the Safari Animal Unit at Woodland Park Zoo, where I helped support animal care directly in the giraffe, hippo and zebra pens. Home life includes looking after my two children, Charlie the Chocolate Labrador, and rescue ragdoll cat, chickens and two holland lop rabbits. I am currently enrolled in the University of Washington Applied Animal Behavior program so I can continue to grow my knowledge of animals and my passion for living and working with them.
