Hi! My name is melissa. I’m 24 years old and I’m looking to make some extra money on the side of my veterinary technician job. Ive been working in the vet med industry for about 5 years and would like to say I’m very experienced with animals. With that being said, I love to walk, train, play and love any animal of any shape, size and demeanor. Besides work related experience, I also have my own 2 dogs and 2 cats! I grew up with lots of fur babies as well. I’m not picky on what services I offer. If you need over-night boarding or even just a walk a day, feel free to reach out to me! My schedule is flexible and I’m willing to work with all clients! (: I can also provide other services such as nail trims, anal gland expressions, baths, etc. feel free to ask!

Just like last time, Leia enjoyed her time with Melissa. Leia is comfortable with her and loves her. So happy that Melissa is able to take care of her. She is first choice for Leia. Great to have her.
Melissa was great with Leia. Lucky to have found her. Leia had a great time and didn't miss me much. She provided thorough updates with lots and lots of amazing pictures. Followed all the instructions and took care of Leia's anxious behavior. Couldn't have found a better match for her. She graciously agreed to a meet and greet on short notice as well. I would definitely recommend her and would rebook her.
Melissa was amazing. It was my First time leaving my puppy for the night and she was awesome. Assured me she was going to take great care of her and make sure she was happy! She kept me updated the entire time, every so often with pictures and what they were doing. She took her out on walks and to a park and it looked like my puppy had a great time! I loved it and I felt comfortable leaving my puppy with her! I will 100% use Melissa again if I need to!

Ideally I ask that clients provide a list of eating times and potty break times and anything else pertaining to your pets daily schedule. I ask this because sticking to a set schedule will hopefully offer a less anxiety inducing experience for your pet while you are away.

I do not have any breed preferences! However, anything noteworthy would be helpful before any bookings. Is your dog animal friendly? Are they house trained? Are they food aggressive? Are they up to date with vaccines? Are they leash trained? Anything that upsets them easily (Loud noises, separation anxiety, etc)? Are they on any medications or specific food diet? NONE OF THESE ARE DEALBREAKERS! I just like to get an idea of what your pet is like just so I can properly prepare to care for them (:
A typical day
I’m a very adventurous person especially with my dogs. I love hikes, swimming, running, and playing with them and of course anything I decide to do with them will be run by the owner before hand. All dogs like to get muddy and roll around, and I can guarantee if that happens under my watch I will make sure to give your furry friend a nice bath afterwards!

Availability
I am currently working at my day job 8-5 Monday-thursdays. With that being said, I can be with your pet in the morning, lunch (if I’m a close enough proximity to my work) and all night. I can be with your pet full time on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
