Pet care experience
As a wannabe one-day dog owner, I will treat your pooch like my own with lots of pets, snuggles and trips to the closest dog park! I was a part-time pet sitter in Charleston before moving to Raleigh and frequently took care of coworkers' pets in Winchester, Virginia, before that. I grew up with German Shepherds and my brother has the best pit bull named Pebbles, who is just the cutest girl and who I visit on the regular. I'm comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I'm experienced at pet sitting lots of types of animals -- dogs, cats, chameleons, fish, you name it -- and a true animal lover. At home, I have two cats, Angus and Zoe, and we hope to one day add a pup to the mix. Until then, I'm happy to take care of yours like they're my own!

Melissa was great. Quick to respond and excited at the opportunity. Offered to arrive early and was attentive to the many instructions from this nervous new momma of a 9 wk old puppy. She gave Benny lots of love, played with him and got the little man to bed. She asked for clarification when needed instead of assuming the answer which is appreciated. She was responsive to additional needs as requested. Will definitely use again.
Melissa did a great job staying with Murray. He seemed very happy upon my return and was well taken care of. She was happy to walk him and even went above and beyond to make sure he continued eating when I was away.
