Pet care experience
I am a pet owner of three senior dogs, 1 cat and one bird, most with behavioral or medical needs and all rescued/adopted. I also foster various types of cats and dogs. I am currently a mom of a young child (who accompanies me during the day) and a part-time vet technician. I am experienced in giving medication, injections, fluids, etc. I have owned sugar gliders and have cared for geckos, turtles, fish, and ferrets. I am comfortable caring for any pet type including cats, birds, reptiles, fish, exotics, even snakes and spiders. I specialize in animals with behavioral needs whether shy, fearful, or just need a patient person. I do household chores: cleaning after pets such as vacuuming as needed, bringing in mail, maintaining pools and watering plants.

I have experience and a love for all breeds, no matter how big, small, young or old. I always ask my pet parents about the fur kids likes and dislikes. What stresses them and excites them? What are the pet parents' expectations? What training or routines need to be enforced? Any health concerns: diagnosed or not?
A typical day
I try to stay as close to your pet's normal routines. If they sleep with you, they sleep with me. If they are walked, I will walk them. Every family, pet and home is different and I will do my best to meet those needs. I, also, provide one time stop-ins for those long days at work, day trips or new puppy training. During the week, I work a few half days as a vet technician. Your pet can be left alone for as little as 4 hours, but could be up to 8 hours if I am working.
