Hi! My name is Mel, I have had a professional pet/dog sitting/walking business for over 15 years now (mainly in the Chester County Area). I not only have had small and exotic experience but also large (mainly horses!). I have a dog, cats, and horses myself and they are exactly like my human family. I have had horses in the Chester County area for 31 years. I have raised homing pigeons and chickens as well as kittens and puppies. I am currently working on getting my degree in Vet Technician certification while also studying for my doctorate in small animal medicine. I have volunteered for many non-profit organizations for 20+ years- LAPS (Large Animal Protection Society) and CatNAPS of Pottstown (Not All Perfect Strays) to name a couple. I work alongside the Schuylkill Township police for any large animal expertise in the court of law when needed! I have many completed expert certifications through the PA Agricultural Department (large animal husbandry) and periodically give seminars to local 4-H groups in the Berks/Chester areas. I do have a 1 year old daughter who comes along with me for walks and overnight stays!
