Pet care experience
I'm a high school art teacher and I have the summer off. I have two dogs of my own, a border collie/akita mix (8 years) and a chocolate lab (9 years). I have completed dog training courses with puppies so I am aware of training basics. I have always had pets growing up and have a very special place in my heart for animals. The value of exercise for our animals is very important and would love to give your pet a fulfilling daily life by walking/jogging him or her. I am an extremely active individual and I enjoy being outdoors the most. I also have experience with dogs with health problems. I will administer any necessary medications and provide any necessary care or attention. I guarantee your dog will be in great hands.

I have known Melissa for about 6 or 7 years now. She is a very kind and loving person who would never harm anyone or anything. Anyone who knows Melissa well would probably say she loves animals more than she does people. I have seen her with her own pets and with mine and she is always very loving and wanting to be surrounded by animals, especially dogs. When she first adopted one of her current dogs now from the shelter I saw her go above and beyond to make him feel loved and comfortable in his new home with her. Melissa is a very caring and gentle person and she would be my first call if I ever was to leave town and needed someone to dog sit for me.
Melissa possibly cares for animals more than I do, and that's saying a lot! She is the loving owner of two dogs and a cat and has had pets her whole life. One of her dogs is a 9 year old lab she fell in love with and adopted after he was dumped at a shelter, undernourished and unloved. With Melissa's competent care, he has received the proper medical treatment he needed and has become a thriving member of her family. Melissa is reliable and extremely capable of taking care of your pet when you can't.
