Pet care experience
I was a vet tech before having kids who I have been home with for 10 years. I had 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own (hazard of working at a vet hospital) but sadly am down to 1 cat. I love animals and am always watching friends and families pets. I would love to meet your fur baby and help make their time away from you special.

Our pup has stayed with Melisa many times. She’s great with him, helps him feel comfortable during his stay, and very responsive. Grateful to have found a great sitter in our new home.
My dog had a great time. Because she is/was an anxiety prone rescue of 8 months, I was worried she would become very nervous again. But she was very happy. Melissa's back yard is great and I am sure that was one reason my small dog was so happy. And Melissa is very accommodating.
Everything went very smooth from the first contact to meet and greet to finally the stay of our Weimaraner for 8 days. Melisa sent pictures while we were away, and kept us posted. Then house is very large, with a nice fenced backyard for the dogs to stroll around. All in all we are very happy to have found a place where we now can leave our dog while on vacation.
Darby had a great visit. He was calm when he came home.

I typically go on a hike daily! I have a fenced in yard that’s great for fetch and running with other doggies! Also live near a lake so doggies who like to swim can.
