MARATHON RUNNER THAT LOVES DOGS
Pet care experience
I have owned many different breeds of dogs growing up. My family rescued six of the nine dogs we have owned. Through 4-H, I have had the opportunity to learn how to compete in dog shows. I have house trained three puppies. I am currently training for a marathon, so I am always looking for dogs that love to run and get out energy. Moreover, I have taken care of friends and family dogs growing up. They relied on me to feed, water, walk and bathe their dogs while they were away.

Melinda is a wonderful and kind care-giver, and extremely knowledgeable about animal behavior, and attentive to detail. She went above and beyond, taking on an extra task that was extremely helpful and generous. I recommend establishing how often you would like to receive updates and news, so that you both have the same expectations. I trust her completely with my pets and home.
Melinda was great! Our old girl likes people but definitely fell in love with Melinda who took care her just like she was her own!

Melinda is my Maine dog sitter whenever I go on vacation. My dog adores her, which is amazing because my dog can be quite particular with new people. She is always respectful and talkative when she has comes to watch him. 10/10 I’d definitely recommend her.

I would never allow any dog off-leash unless they were in a safely fenced-in area. I always make sure they have water 24/7 and are given the right amount of food as told by the client. I normally walk dogs a half-hour after eating. I always enjoy playing fetch and other games with the dogs. I am very athletic and run almost every day. If you have a hyperactive dog that you want to let out some energy, I can help you with that. At my house, my dog has a fenced-in yard that he can go out and play in whenever he wants. However, I do a one-mile run with him every day and play with him for a bit as a cool down after the run.

I would like to know what kind of personality your dog has especially when it comes to meeting new people. Also, being given a few tips of things your dog enjoys doing so I can keep them happy while I care for them.
A typical day
I like to run and walk dogs. Take the dogs to new and fun places to explore. I like to go to parks. So, that the dogs can socialize with other dogs. I also love playing games like fetch, tug, and war, etc.

Availability
I have worked with all kinds of dogs throughout my life. The largest dog I have personally taken care of was a Great Dane. I am currently in college and almost all of my classes are online except one class. So, I have lots of time to take care of and play with dogs and cats. I am currently unemployed, so I have no set schedule and am available on Monday after 2 pm. I am available on Tuesdays before 5 pm. I am available all days on Wednesdays. I am available on Thursdays after 10 am. I am available all day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to work.
