Before I sit a dog I like to know a little bit about the dog's background, including any behavioral problems, medical issues - allergies, illnesses, surgeries, ect., favorite foods, treats, and toys, and regular exercise routines. Getting to know the dog a little bit beforehand will ensure that your pals have the best experience here and will allow me to make them feel as comfortable as possible while you are away. I have no breed preferences, I just require that your dog is up to date with vaccinations and has no past incidents of severe aggression towards other dogs or people.

When I am sitting a dog, I will spend the day doing whatever your dog feels comfortable with. For younger, more energetic dogs I would take them on long walks to the park, take them to the dog park (my favorites are Marymoor and Robinswood), and play fetch with them in the back yard. For the older and more laid back dogs I would take them on walks around the neighborhood, play with them in the back yard and give them lots of toys to entertain them. I guarantee that by the time your dog has to leave, they'll be barking for more!
