Melina made my dog very happy for a week. While we were on vacation during the day sailing, Layla had her own vacation with lots of fun activities with Melina. They went on doggie play dates, had ample time running in the yard, got to walk around town and get lots of attention from admirers. Melina even agreed to help us acting as a personal driver to and from ports. It was rewarding to see Layla run to Melina each morning and come back smiling at the end of the day. I highly recommend Melina.

If you're traveling to Traverse City, you don't find a more accommodating, sweet and caring host like Melina. My mom decided to take a last-minute trip and we only discovered once she arrived that she couldn't bring her dog into the house or in any airbnb our family rented. So we turned to Rover for help. Melina's price was right! So we reached out - she got back to us in minutes, gave us her phone number and even offered to come to us to meet us for a meet and greet. Since our booking was that night, my mom decided to head to her house. WOW, the view. The house is a sanctuary for dogs - they get to gaze out on to the lake and their backyard is completely fenced in -- rare in this community (where so many have invisible electric fences). Melina sits with your dogs while outside too! So they are never left alone. Our dog got along with her dog as if they were old friends. We felt comfortable so we left Kai for the night -- about an hour into the session, photos started rolling in. Totally made us feel at ease. Melina is new on the platform which is why there aren't many reviews, but she has everything she needs to be a Rover superstar. You can feel comfortable leaving your pets with Melina and her boyfriend. Their house is secure, safe and beautiful. We'd book again for sure!
