I have experience watching pets of all sizes, ages, and personality types from the outgoing and energetic to the shy and reserved. I regularly pet sit and housesit for my friends and have been serving clients on this app since 2019. I have helped to take care of and owned many rescue animals and am accustomed to accommodating each of their unique emotional needs.

Melanie did great with the boys! She sent us pictures every day we were away. She was also flexible and took care of some packages that were delivered during here stay.
Melanie did so well with my dog! My dog is often hesitant around new people, but she warmed up quickly to Melanie. Melanie was quick to respond and does so well with mischievous dogs like mine.
Melanie is a very caring and loving dog person. She took excellent care of our puppers while we were out of town. She is very responsive while dog sitting, is very professional and seems like a great person all around. We will definitely use her again.

I follow the requests of each client for their pets and home. I feed, walk, medicate, and play with them. If you would like to board your pet with me, I have cats so your pet will need to be non aggressive to cats. I mostly keep the cats in my room and leave the rest of the space to pet guests so it's OK if your pet isn't thrilled with cats, so long as they aren't aggressive.

A typical day
A typical day depends entirely on the individual pet and owner needs. I wake up around 7 (can go earlier if needed), take dogs out for walks/potty breaks, feed animals, work from home and take occasional breaks to play with pets.

Availability
I am available weekends for home stays and throughout the week for boarding, check ins and dog walks. I can be somewhat flexible and do a mix of things if you need as well. For boarding, keep in mind that I have cats, so your pet will need to be able to be around cats or at least not aggressive with them. My cats mostly hang out in my room/ignore other pets.
