Hello! My name is Melanie, and I have been dog-sitting for 5 years now. I fell in love with dog-sitting after my very first job taking care of 2 Pitbull brothers. I have worked with all dog sizes and breeds and have no preferences. What I love most about dog-sitting is getting personal with them. I take the time to truly understand them- I give belly rubs when they need and/or space when they need. All I need to know is their favorite game to play! My schedule is flexible and often changes weekly. I currently go to school in Midtown next to Bryant Park. I love being outdoors and can walk for hours if your dog and weather permits :) I have lots of love and patience to give to your fur balls. Hope to get to know them soon!

Melanie has an amazing connection with dogs. She has taught my dog a few tricks that I was having trouble with. Greatest level of patience too! Melanie is the perfect candidate you could ever find!
To say Melanie is my saving grace would be an understatement. She is the only reason I am ever able to go away on vacation. I am hesitant to board my dog and know that he would prefer to stay at home and take his walks around our normal every day routes. He became good friends with Mel at their first meeting and greets her with a happy wagging tail every time she visits! I have used her services during week long trips and always came home to a very happy dog who didn't seem to notice I was ever away.
Lets just start with Melanie's doggie paw-print finger tattoo - need I say more?! I will :) She will adore and treat your dog as if it were her own. I have seen her care for dogs, as well as speak about them, and can tell she is genuinely interested in giving all of her love to them. If you can snatch Melanie on her spare time, you will be in luck :)!
