Pet care experience
I've been a nanny for 10 years being responsible for the families pets as well. I'm trustworthy & dependable being families have entrusted me with their children, their homes & well as their their fur babies! I've volunteered at shelters as well as rescue groups & fostered animals myself that I or family members have rescued. I have experience with rabbits, lizards, birds & have taken in kittens & puppies that were abandoned by their owners or the mother that are days or weeks old. I have rescued many dogs & taken them to ACS & always follow up to make sure they are picked up from a rescue group or adopted. I have great references & all animals seem to take to me immediately. I'm very patient as I've specialized in children w special needs. I'll treat your fur baby as my own, I have a Chiweenie & a Morkie who are our babies! My rat terrier lived to be 16 & needed special attention the last 3 years with medications & assistance in walking so I do have experience w senior dogs. I've had Lab's as well & have sitted for medium & large breeds. Excited to meet your fur baby very soon!

Melanie always takes good care of my girls. One of my furbabies suffers from severe anxiety & she always does what she can to calm her & make her feel comfortable. She’s so kind & understanding & treats my babies like they’re her own.

A typical day
We have a really big backyard! I'd love to toss a frisbee, a ball or their favorite toy & keep them stimulated. We like to hang out & bask in the sun, my fur babies love to sunbathe & go to the beach. So they are well mannered & play well with other dogs or all breeds & sizes. I'd love to hang out w your fur baby & give them a great stay!
