Pet care experience
I enjoy spending time with dogs whether it's walking with them taking them to a park to play or just relaxing with them and getting to know them better. Each one has their own unique personality and their own needs just like anyone else. One of my K-9 clients favorite activities is something I've come to call a "pupper-ssage" it's like a massage but for dogs. She'll let me know when she needs one by walking up to me and gently putting her head against my leg giving me the look. And I know exactly what that look means, she needs a little extra love. I'll spend time rubbing her ears, neck and back. It's her special one on one time and she absolutely loves it! It puts the biggest smile on her face and I just love that. It makes me happy that she's so happy.

We love Melanie!!! She has taken EXCELLENT care of my dood many times and I know he’s in great hands when he’s there. He gets so excited to see her which makes it easy to leave him when we have to. Melanie was amazing! Our little Yorkie, Charlie, absolutely loved staying with her- he was the happiest I’ve ever seen him! Melanie was excellent at communicating with us everyday & kept us updated with adorable pictures. She is so kind and caring. We will absolutely use her services again and highly recommend her!!
Charleston (Charlie) had a great time with Melanie! In fact it couldn’t have been any better! Our girl loved Melanie instantly & was so happy having a sleepover...hope to repeat many times!! We loved the pictures of our girl enjoying her fun!!
Our miniature schnauzer, Winston, loved staying with Melanie. As soon as he and I left the car, he would take the lead and steer us directly to Melanie's door. He obviously loved staying there. Melanie has a beautiful place and lives in a great area for walking dogs. Winston highly recommends Melanie, so do my wife and I

I would like to know the temperament of the dog and if they've had any formal obedience training. I do love Goldens because they are the breed my family had growing up but really all 'family friendly' breeds are my favorite. Really, I've never met a dog I couldn't bond with. Sometimes it just takes patience and trust.
A typical day
I would typically take the dog for a walk around the neighborhood or to a park if there's one close by. Not all dogs are the same, they may require different amounts of activity so we can discuss their needs further on a case by case basis.
