I have owned dogs my whole life, however, I received MY first dog when I was about 10 years old -- a feisty black lab for Christmas. She was my best friend and I have never gone without a dog by my side since then. I have about 4 years prior experience working in a veterinarians office and I am very comfortable around all types of animals and personalities. I currently have three children (1 two-legged & 2 four-legged). My dream is to one day walk and work with animals full-time. It's the classic struggle of following your heart/passion and following your paycheck (a.k.a. what your college degree tells you to do). As a working animal owner who has had both very young animals and very old animals, I understand the need to have someone you trust check on your animals throughout the day and allow them the exercise, attention, and freedom they deserve. Much like the post office, I will walk in rain, sleet, sun, snow, or whatever Michigan decides to throw at us that day.
