My name is Melanie, I have a Boston Terrier, an Anatolian shepherd lab mix, and a cat. I’m a trainer and have handled dogs professionally for 5 years. I have litter box experience with the dogs I grew up with, as well as being able to train them with basic commands and a few tricks, and some house training. Making dogs feel comfortable in any situation from being comfortable during storms, to bathing and nail trimming is my specialty. Depending on your pup I will always tailor their activities to them and their activity levels. I've volunteered at a few Humane Societies throughout Southwest Florida. Walking, socializing, bathing, and cleaning up after any kind/size dog or cat is where I thrive. I've also volunteered and I am fairly active in the Florida Dachshund Rescue. I've helped transport dachshunds to and from shelters to the rescues and I am very comfortable handling animals of all sizes and conditions. I believe that your pet is the baby of the family and they should be treated and cared for as such. They should get the same care that any child would get. They deserve the most love and affection, as well as a good upbringing to be the most well-behaved pet you can have. I'm looking forward to meeting your furbaby and being able to provide them with the care and the love they deserve, especially while their parent is away or busy. I'm willing to do any work, including the "dirty" jobs because every part of caring for your furbaby is very important to me.
