My name is Melanie, I am 25 and a full time college student looking for some extra income. I am an experienced active dog owner! I do live in an apartment, but I have a porch (incase your loved one loves being outside) and my apartment has a nice bark park. I have a fur child named Ash, she’s a little over four years old now. She loves long walks and meeting other dogs especially smaller dogs. I am a student in college working towards my Forensic psychology degree, and I’m also a passionate gym goer :) I am available to take care of your pets when your life seems overwhelming and you need a hand! Including dog walking, day sitting, and dropping by your home to feed and give your pet water. I’m available short notice, and have a flexible schedule including weekends. All types of dogs are welcomed and loved!

Melanie is amazing!
Melanie was AMAZING with my doberman, Zeus. He took to her immediately which is rare for him, and i trust his ability to judge people. He was a happy camper when he came back from his walk, and Melanie was able to answer all my questions on how it went. I'm an overprotective dog mom as Zeus is also my service dog so he can be a little nervous away from me. I will ABSOLUTELY use Melanie any and every time I need someone to take him for a walk, drop in on him or anything else needed. Although I've just met her, i think Melanie will become one of Zeus' best friends. SO glad to have found her here on Rover.
First off let me tell you that Melanie is the best affordable loving dog caregiver ever!!! She works with you every step of the way, and is very sweet. She goes above and beyond and ALWAYS gives updates. I have been through several other dog caregivers and most of them are lazy and not friendly but she is just the best! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

A typical day
We can go for long walks or play with favorite toys! It’s always nice getting out of the house with fur babies to go for a walk, and get all the exciting smells in.

Availability
I am currently taking online courses, so I will be available to walk your fur child during the day. The gym is my way of mental therapy to deal with anxiety and depression, so I do prioritize that in the evenings or occasionally the afternoon.
