Hello, my name is Melanie. I have loved animals since the day I was born. They have always been a special part of my life and members of my family. I worked for a vet as a teenager walking dogs, caring for cats, assisting the vets, holding animals during procedures, prepping for surgeries and during emergencies, medicating, loving, and snuggling. I have been an advocate of animals my whole life and am also a rescue/ rehabilitator. I have cats, dogs, fish, frogs, and birds currently that are various ages and temperaments. I've never met an animal that didnt take to me. I get great fullfillment out of caring for animals. I believe they are one of Gods most precious gifts to us. I started pet sitting when I was 10 years old for neighbors. I had quite a business as a kid. I was in high demand and very responsible. Having fur babies of my own, I know how important it is to be able to feel safe and comfortable with who is caring for them in your absence. I will do whatever I can to ensure your comfort and confidence in my abilities to take the best care of them for you!
