WE JUST MOVED TO RIVERSIDE DRIVE AND TIEMANN PLACE. Upper West Side doctor, Melanie (and daughter Adara when she is home from college) will walk your dog three times per day. We have a sunny, spacious home to house our warm and loving dog family. Our dog, Kate is getting up there in years but still loves to chase her toys and cuddle on our laps. Your dog can join our family for as long as you need. We have watched dogs for friends and neighbors. Kate is our third rescue dog so we are open to caring for all types of doggie personalities. We have been dog sitting on Rover for four years now and absolutely love it! Why I love dog sitting Melanie always had dogs growing up. When I left home for college I really missed my dog. Medical school and residency did not offer time to care for a dog so I rescued a pup from CACC in Manhattan the day after I finished my residency. That dog lived with me for 10 years until he passed away from cancer. We have had Kate since Hurricane Katrina--she was rescued from New Orleans about two months after the hurricane and was thought to have born in the disaster area after the hurricane passed. In between, we took a rescue from a woman who was fostering in the dog run. Lulu was found muddied, unkempt and uncared for chained to a fence in the park. We gave her to my mother whose dog had died and that pup was treated like a Princess by both my parents until she died of cancer at a ripe old age. Adara has had a dog since the day she was born. She has an excellent hand for dogs, cats and horses. Meet my pets Kate our cute and playful dog. About my yard We live on Riverside Drive and treat the park as our huge, beautiful back yard. Kate is getting older so enjoys slightly slower walks but she is out for at least one 30 minute walk every day. If your dog needs more running, we are happy to accommodate!
