Pet care experience
I love animals and have taken care of animals for many years. It wasn't until friends of mine requested that I help them watch their fur babies that I considered taking care of pets as a part-time job. I have always felt a connection with all animals but specifically am great with dogs. At this time I am only working with small dogs ( under 40 lb) as I want to get my foot in the door of this field first and build ip my experience caring for pets proffesionally before I challenge myself with larger dogs.

I have a safe environment with a fenced backyard and plenty of space for pets. I do have four dogs of my own, a cat and 2 guinea pigs. My backyard is sectioned so that my large dog can have her own space.

please let me know if your dog has any special needs so that I can be prepared and make sure to plan ahead so that we can ensure the dog is comfortable and has a fun stay. I am very patient and do not mind special needs as long as I can plan ahead. I feel this is important to dogs as well. Behaviors might be how the dog communicates needs and so if I dont know how to respond, this may cause the dog to becaome distressed.
A typical day
I have a big backyard in which the dogs can run around and play but I will also be sure to take dogs on walks ( at least 20 min) and spend lots of time playing with dogs ( something I love to do) I have plenty of dog toys but encourage owners to bring any dog toys that their dog is attached to.

Availability
Currently, I prefer caring for pets on the weekend, but starting in June, 2022, I will be available throughout the week. I do prefer to have at least 2 days i advance to schedule pets.
