There couldn't be a better caretaker for an animal than Mel! I have known her for nearly 30 years and animals are her treasure. She tends to them with hugs, kisses, food, attentiveness to any special needs, ensuring cleanliness and she also rescues and rehabilitates. If Mel needs, she calls her network of people who have expertise and she researches to provide the best for animals. From dogs to ducks, flying squirrels to salamanders, she cares for them all with great love and compassion. Mel is a beautiful person who you all would be so blessed to have as part of your team! I know that for certain because she is part of my team - I am the principal at the school where she works.
