Pet care experience
As an owner of two rescue dogs, it is easy to say having patience is a must for any dog owners. Paying attention to body & verbal (barking) language goes a long way! We are constantly learning as we meet and interact with more dog breeds as well as our own. With care and attention, we hope to provide love and support to your little one's as you travel with the need to leave them somewhere safe. It is a gratifying feeling to come home to a pet that misses you for you and not because of their other (ie, eating, sleeping, potty) needs! The pets will get constant challenges and directions to keep their interactivity up as well as brushing / petting throughout the day. Living in a neighborhood with many scents (ie, dog markings / pee spots) will also give them a chance to play outside (weather-dependent) if that is allowed. In short, adding a little more doggy love into our home is always welcome addition!!

I felt comfortable leaving my 6 months old puppy with Jonathan. He kept us updated and shared lots of pics and walked him as well. He took really good care of puppy and he was happy when I went to pick. Highly recommended.
Melanie and Jonathan were responsive and communicative during the entire process. From booking the visit to the end, they were always quick to reply. They had pictures of my pups ready and took care of them even when they had an accident. Thank you again! Would recommend and would book again!

We are firm believers that a walked dog is a happy dog so we try to keep them physically exercised while in our care. With proper directions, we will follow-through on the tricks/ commands as well as having a snuffle mat to keep up mental stimulation. Our two dogs are older and are very calm around other dogs; smaller (20 lbs) playful dogs are always extra-welcome at our house to play "chase" with our Jewel! We have a large, gated cement patio that is free reign for the dogs for sunbathing, outside naps and short catch games. Our current neighbor (11/21) also has a friendly dog who likes to play and adds to the interactivity for all of the dogs.

A typical day
Plantation Heritage Park is an occasional place we go to play just to keep the dog's up with healthy, leashed walk and somewhere different to look/smell (for dogs staying longer than 3 days). Our neighborhood has a fair amount of dogs so it is like a candy store for dogs with all of the markings / pee spots! If the dog plays catch, we have a large cement patio where we can play some short catch. Good petting & scratching and attention/ light grooming always puts a smile on their faces.....and what dog owner doesn't like the doggy-cuddles <3 We try to keep the dog/s busy and active throughout the day so they get rest and fun they crave while you are away!

Availability
We will provide 2x walking's a day with an early morning (~7:00 am) and early evening (before dusk/ dark). *weather depending On weekend/holiday stays, we will have more personal time to provide play time and longer walks. With attentive dogs, we may even go the local park for some "adventure" leashed walks.
