Hi there! My name is Melanie. I am a stay at home mom and wife. My family and I live in Clemmons, NC. Our home is welcoming and cozy... A perfect spot for your precious fur baby to relax and enjoy themselves while you’re away! My family and I have been pet sitting for over 15 years and see it as a blessing to us! We treat each animal as if they are our own and only take *one* family’s pet/s at a time. I feel this is vital to creating the best scenario for each client, the animals who share our home and for our family as well. Our beloved dog, Shelly crossed the rainbow bridge this summer. She blessed our family with over a decade of love and rescued us, even though she was the “rescue”. Our hearts have healed and we’re ready to open our home again to other four-legged friends. We also have a very sweet kitty, named Honey Bea. She’s eight years old and accustomed to new animals coming and going and quite enjoys the company. She loves dogs and Shelly was her surrogate mom. If your pet is agressive toward cats, then unfortunately we wouldn’t be the right family for your petsitting needs. If they’ve never been around a cat, that’s ok! From our experience, once they are here, they adapt very well! We’ve happily shared our home with dogs, cats and even a favorite bearded dragon lizard, named Sandy. The love of animals runs deep in our family! We treat each baby with love and respect their needs. I take pride in taking exceptional care of our clients’ animals. I am comfortable giving medication, insulin shots and dealing with ailments. My sister is a Veterinarian, practicing Emergency Medicine...and a fabulous one at that!
