Pet care experience
I have been a pet owner and taken care of cats and dogs every year if my life! I have experience with all types of pets - primarily rescues. Animals are a big part of who I am! ! I have been rescuing cats and dogs for over 10 years. I am a very attentive and compassionate person - the type of person you will find hanging out with the pets at a party instead of people haha. I have my doctorate in physical therapy and I am new to Rover, but can provide any professional and personal references upon request! I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! :)

Melanie was able to help me out on short notice. As soon as I met her I knew she I could trust her with my babies and my home. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her!
First time using Rover and Melanie did an amazing job with the dogs! Definitely will be contacting her again to be their sitter.
Melanie is super punctual and great with Pablo! She sent a bunch of pictures and my buddy looked very happy!
Melanie took great care of my dog Boone! She came over and walked and fed him a couple of times and sent me so many pictures while keeping me up to date with what my pup was doing. I absolutely will be rebooking with her in the future and recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter!!!

A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks, hikes, and play games/fetch with them! I’m undefeated in tug of war ;) I will also provide all the cuddles and pets the dog will allow!

Availability
I currently work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility to play/walk with your animals and do drop-ins as needed! I also have a fenced in backyard. I can provide house sitting needs with the help of my husband (who will be part of any meet and greets).
