I've always had animals in my household since I was a little girl, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, even a 5 foot iguana I've seen them all, hyper dogs, lazy dogs, mean dogs, social dogs, and dogs that think they're human. In my experience with all of these personalities, I've noticed one trait that is essential in dog-care, patience. Patience is something that I have no shortage of, I have twin boys and worked in the ER! Trust me, I've seen the good, the bad, the nitty, and the gritty...nothing can scare me away. In terms of my tangible experience, other than my own animals, I've logged a significant amount of hours volunteering at animal shelters and pet-sitting for various neighbors, friends and family. I'm a huge advocate for exercise and fitness for pets so if you leave your dog with me, I guarantee that we will be going on walks and playing outside on our fenced in 5 acre lot! They will have tons of fun running around, sniffing the mountain air, chasing squirrels and bunnies. A little bit about me...When I left for nursing school in Utah I sadly had to leave my dog and 2 cats behind, as I knew I wouldn’t be able to give them the care and attention they needed while I was busy with school & work. That was a very hard time in my life not having my furry friends around, but I was able to come back to California and be reunited with them! I still have my 2 cats, Delilah & Maximus, but sadly my Australian Shepherd, April, passed away 2 years ago. Since then I have found joy in helping others care for their dogs, as I am a full time homemaker and can get lonely at home all day! If you are worried about your dog not getting enough love or attention under my care I promise that you could not be more wrong, I've got so much love to give!
