Hi there- My name is Melanie Green and I recently graduated from Oregon State University with a Zoology degree. Prior to going to school, I worked full time as an Animal Care Technician at the Oregon Humane Society for years where I worked primarily with dogs. Given this, I have experience handling a wide variety of handling a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I also have medical experience including administering oral, topical, SC, and SQ medications including vaccines. If you have a special care dog, I'm your girl! I also am very active and run plus take long walks with my dog, Sophie, a 6-year-old Golden Retriever who loves other dogs. I would love to find some dog friends who love longs walks or runs! I have open availability and for in-my-home care, I would prefer dogs to be friendly with other dogs. I look forward to making new furry friends!
