Pet care experience
I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl. Whether it was for my own or my next door neighbors. I am reliable and lead an active lifestyle. Love going on walks or going to the park or just plain cuddling. I have a 3 year old silver lab. He is so sweet and a total goof. I am open to house sitting as long as I am able to bring my dog along. I understand some families aren’t open to it and that is okay! I travel a lot for work but the farthest is 1.5 hours. My schedule is pretty flexible depending on the day. Evenings are wide open.

My dog was “my baby” before I could have babies. Her breed is very people-oriented. The last four years, we have also been through the ups and downs of my dogs diabetes Including insulin shots twice a day. Melanie has been an amazing role in our lives with her compassion and care with our dog. She understands the needs of her personality and medical. She is kind and responsible as well. I highly recommend her to anyone else that needs quality caregiving for their beloved pet
Melanie inhabits an intuitive sense with animals and they respond so positively to her. She will follow the parent's instructions of care however, she is great at anticipating the pet's needs at any given time. She is experienced with elderly dogs and cats as well as young, frisky labs and kittens and anything in between. She is prompt, driven, caring, and dedicated and you won't be disappointed. Your pet will be well-cared for and content and that is what matters.
Melanie is so sweet when it comes to loving on my fur babies. They get so excited when Aunt Mel comes to visit. She is responsible, reliable and down right fun to be around!

I think going exploring is so fun! Dog parks are always a good time. I am a member of a private park near my home. Playing different games with treats or even a simple car ride.

Availability
My routine starts at 6am and having a dog of my own we walk, potty, feed, etc before work. I have somewhat of a flexible schedule so I am able to check-in during the day most days. After work, we play!
