For the past 15+ years, I’ve been pet sitting in client’s homes. I provide for all of their basic needs like feeding fur babies their meals, day/night routines, walk times, medication administration if/when needed, but most importantly, the love and one-on-one attention that they wouldn’t receive anywhere else except in a home. I’ve given medications from ear infection drops to cancer meds both with ready and willing pets to pets who may be much more aware that there’s a pill hidden in that peanut butter. What sets me apart from others doing this solely for the purpose of extra income or to expand an existing pet sitting business, is treating each pet in my care like they are my own. I have such a great love for animals, so much so that I’ve been nicknamed the “Dog Yaya” which where I am from means “Dog Nanny.” (I do also pet sit for cats and other animals, my life has just primarily been filled with dog sitting by default.) I hope you’ve got a cuddly pup(s) because the cuddlers are my favorite! Also, I hope you love getting updates and pictures of your fur babies while you are away. Half the reason I upgraded my phone was to take crazy good pictures of all the pets I sit for (Crazy dog lady, I know!) I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby/babies!
