I’ve taken care of animals of all sorts since I was young, people have always relied on me for advice when it comes to feeding, training, walking and bathing their pets. I can administer oral medication, I don’t mind accompanying the dog to groomers and taking them to appointments if requested. If your dog is friendly and well behaved around farm animals, I can pet sit from 10am-6pm and take them on my daily chores. These include farm walks, doing stables and general yard duties and drop them off at home. I don’t mind a muddy car at all, and don’t mind hosing your pup off after the walk if you do mind a muddy house. but please provide any crates or safety harnesses for car travels.

I have hired Melanie previously to take care of my dogs and she did a wonderful job. I got active updates and video calls when requested as I was away for a slightly longer period of time,I saw she was taking very good care of my dogs. I can keep your dog company for as long as you need, I can walk dogs and puppies and even teach basic obedience. I have a level 2 in equine management animal care, so your pet will be safe with me.

Let me know if your dog have any behavioural needs before hand. Please also let me know if they have any commands they usually follow on walks, such as walking at your heel. I’d also love to know their recall and how safe they are around other dogs. If your dog is a high drive dog like a Mal or a working breed, I can make sure I make the walk more interesting and mentally stimulating for your dog. If your dog likes a steady pace or a more active walk. Any allergies and if treats are allowed.
A typical day
I am used to high drive dogs so I can go for runs with your dog long distances if they are a high energy dog needing that. I love to go for walks through forests and through the moss valley park, around lakes. If there’s anything your dog really enjoys please let me know! I can incorporate anything. And lots of cuddles and treats

I have all the time in the world for your pets, the only thing I have to work around is my own animals but I’m free most days, mostly early mornings, if your pup is well behaved they can accompany to my horses in the afternoon :)
