I was raised with a large German Shepard, who my parents affectionately referred to as their "first child". I have had my own dogs most of my life, from a little Samoyed to a big Newfoundland mix. I consider them part of my family and always treat them with love and respect. I feel a very close bond to dogs, and love snuggling, talking to them, playing and walking with them. I have over 2 decades of dog walking experience. I have dog-sitting experience of staying in clients' homes for weeks at a time, and bringing some into my home for weeks. As a volunteer, I went through extensive training on how to get to know, play with, and enjoy dogs and cats surrendered to the Humane Society of Sarasota County (Florida) 2 years ago. In addition to my decades of experience with many dogs and cats, that taught me professional techniques for working with untrained, scared and traumatized animals to make them feel safe and loved. I am currently available anytime . I also take care of plants and cats if that is what you need. I look forward to getting to take care of your family members when you need to know they are safe and loved when you can't be there with them.
