I’ve had dogs since the age of 3 and had at least 1 since then until now with few exceptions. I’m gentle and playful with them. I also have experience training younger pups and dogs with behavior issues such as leash pulling, and excessive barking. I don’t have a home that allows pets at the moment, but my goal is to become a service dog trainer. So I am eager to gain experience with lots of dog personalities. I’m quick to consult google about behavior issues that I may not be familiar with to learn the kindest method to correct them. I also have experience with elderly dogs and health issues such as epilepsy, stiff joints/arthritis, ear infections and kennel cough. I have also experienced administrating medications to reluctant or picky eaters. The breeds I’ve personally had as family pets are a Sheltie, an adopted Labrador retriever and another from a puppy, and a Border Collie. I’ve also had a Bombay from a kitten. ?
