Pet care experience
I have spent years raising a Jack Russell/Dachsund puppy to improve his social and listening skills--not an easy feat for anyone familiar with those breeds! I am very familiar with enthusiastic dogs whose strong impulses make it difficult for them to socialize effectively. I also have experience with highly anxious dogs. Starting from age 9, I would volunteer at dog adoption events, and my favorite dogs to sit with were always the ones who needed someone to ease them slowly into meeting people. I like to meet dogs where they are at, and take things at their pace. I also have experience house sitting and walking older dogs.

Mel was very kind and respectful, prompt, etc...,we agreed to regular dog walks leading up to our vacation during which they would be house pet sitting. One 12yo, 4lb chi and one 6yo 7lb chi. One afternoon they picked up our pups for a walk, returned on time and informed us they would not be able to fulfill the agreement as they were stopping the pet care gig however while seeking a replacement to meet our needs Mel's profile pops up including reviews for services after quit date.? ? I believe Mel is a nice, non- malevolent person but don't count on consistency
Mel was wonderful. They took care of our house and gave our dog lots of attention. First time using Rover and we were nervous. But Mel sent us updates and pictures which helped. Would definitely hire them again!

Any specific needs/health concerns (allergies, slow walking pace, etc) 6. How well they get along with other dogs (will your dog be bothered by seeing other dogs on the walk? how do you like that handled?) 7. Anything you think is important for me to know about your dog's abilities, needs, preferences, and personality!
A typical day
I can cater any activities to the individual dog's needs! Walking (at whatever pace the dog prefers), playing with toys, petting, and games that the dog finds mentally engaging are all activities I would love to do with your pet to make them happy.
