I am a confident, strong, friendly and loving dog walker with lots of experience walking a variety of dogs, from big to small, anxious to energetic. Animals make me happy and I often receive remarks about how I treat dogs like humans - I will get very attached and speak to your dog like a best friend on our walks😄

Mel has been amazing with our little Billie! Our dog is really anxious so Mel has ensured she feels comfortable at all times. From taking her on long walks, or calming her down at home/at the park if she's a little timid. Mel is also extremely reliable and has committed to taking Billie 3 walks per week so she gains consistency and already she is super comfortable and excited to see Mel. Mel was such an amazing dog walker! I can definitely recommend her. You could tell how much she loved dogs from her very first interactions with George. I felt very comfortable leaving George in her care. He came back home very happy and content. Will definitely be booking Mel again :)
Mel is the best person to leave your dog with. In fact, she gets so attached that you might not get you dog back haha. Of course I am joking but it’s true that she loves dogs and is an excellent cater for our little puppy. She was quick to dig in our puppy Mili’s mouth when she ate things she wasn’t supposed to and being nipped doesn’t stop her from playing with her all the time. They are such a cute pair and I know she will be sad when she goes to Uni and won’t see her anymore. Mel also walks her friend’s dogs all the time (just because she wants to mostly, but she has one friend who is unable to walk hers so she helps out) as well as her uncle’s dogs when we go to visit in the summer. She is just such a dog person and I’m sure any dog would be lucky to spend half an hour with her. They will feel so loved.

I will walk your dog with SO much happiness and I will definitely talk to them for the whole time and entertain them as much as I can. I’ll give them lots of love. I am quite strong so I can manage bigger-sized dogs easily and I am a very confident person which does ease anxiety. I have experience with anxious dogs so I know how to soothe dogs who are a little more shy.

A typical day
I can walk your dog around your familiar route or explore somewhere new with them - whatever you think is best for your dog. I can also feed them on my return or chill with them at home. At the park I can let them off leash and play with ball or frisbee, or keep them on leash and entertain them with rope - whatever is best suited to your dog.

Availability
I’m a full-time student but very flexible. My schedule is completely self-led so I will organise my other duties around pet care/dog walking. I currently have two regular clients and accept one-off bookings as well.
