Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Meilene and I love animals. Growing up in a animal-less household because of allergies, I always sought out neighborhood and friend's pets. After going to others households time after time just to visit their pets an opportunity to petsit was pitched to me and that's when I started. So now, 5 years later, I am the neighborhood go to girl to petsit/walk. I have watched and walked small to large dogs, cats, chickens, and even petsit a fish. On walks, I can take pictures or videos with an added bonus, I’m a photographer! With pet sitting I always keep a handwritten diary and love to have some TLC with pets. I have known Meilene for over 3 years and consider her to be one of the most dependable and conscientious people I know. She has watched our dog, Murphy, many times when we have been out of town. She has gone over and beyond what we would expect by leaving detailed descriptions of Murphy's activities. Since she is a neighbor, we also benefit from having her be a friend to Murphy even when we are at home. She has voluntarily taken him for many walks and even play dates. We could not more highly recommend Meilene to someone to lovingly and responsibly care for their pet.
Meilene is an animal lover & dogs love her. She has that magic instant connection with any dogs she cares for. She is very attentative to dogs' need when she is with them. She walks, cleans,& plays with them. They are like her babys. She does beyond what you would expect a dog sitter will do for your pet. She gives you a log of what your pet has been doing with her throughout the day, send you special pictures/video of your pet while she/he is with her upon request. Will hire her whenever I will need her service, Definetely!!!!

I would like to know any medical conditions that I should be aware of, their general temperament/personality, and how long your pet usually walks. If there is anything they can't do or that you would prefer they do, please let me know.
A typical day
On walks I like to go explore around neighborhoods which usually leads to a park. If there is a trail near by I will walk to it and take it, but ultimately the path I take depends on the weather and pet tolerance. On hotter days I tend to take more natural trails, avoid hot concrete/blacktops, take rests, and even plan out walks to hit some water fountains if your neighborhood has any. For colder days like a snow day I will avoid salted places and ice. Having a dog coat or winter wear is the owner's responsibility, but I am happy to dress the dog.
