Before joining Rover I spent two years house sitting, bathing and walking a past landlord’s foster basset hounds (they had up to 7 dogs at a time!) and have watched and walked numerous neighbor’s and friend’s cats, kittens, puppies and dogs. Since joining I have closed my profile after finding a few wonderful regulars but have free'd up some more time to add a couple of more pups to my pack. Whether that means a last minute walk, filling in when your walker is out of town, a housesit or a reoccurring walk, it's all up to you. Dog Walks/Drop Ins: I am not a six-leash-at-a-time dog walker. I prefer one household per walk so that I am able to build a better relationship with your pet as well as you the owner, so that I am available anytime and as often as you need me, last minute or what not, and so that I have extra time to spend with them, if they are just too hard to leave once the clock is up. More on walks below... About me: I’m a writer & my boyfriend is an electrical engineer working on his doctorite. He’s very busy and has left me with a lot of time on my hands that I want to fill - so I’m gladly available around the clock to spend time with your pets. I welcome it! I’m a non-drinker, non-smoker, active bike rider, runner and weight train using a real squat rack so while I am skeeny I’m strong and athletic and can handle large, fiesty, or super hyper dogs and puppies. Servicing Hoboken and Manhattan** **I am a NY native, lived in the West Village for 8 years and know NYC like the back of my hand. In addition to Hoboken service, I am near the Path train and have an office space in the city, and can easily serve anyone in the West Village, Tribeca, Financial, Chelsea and Hell’s Kitchen Area. ***I am super punctual and will not cancel or last minute cancel your walks unless I have somehow landed in the middle of the Hudson.
