I have experience staying overnight with dogs, I also have done drop-in visits for some friends whose dogs have separation anxiety and can't be alone. I'm good with calming dogs (and other creatures and humans) down but do not consider myself a trainer or behavior specialist. I would allow dogs on furniture or in my bed but I would need to meet and get to know them first, so I've marked "no" initially for those questions. I live in a condo that doesn't have a yard but has green public areas to walk around in. I love to care for other animals besides dogs, have farm experience, and was raised around a number of cats. I'm a massage therapist by trade and wanted to get into rover.com as a way to make some extra money. I do leave the house to work from time to time but don't have the same 9-5 kind of job that most people have. I've noticed the dogs that know me tend to come to me and "ask" for a massage, though I'm not trained specifically in animal massage. The cat in the photo was mine, I raised him from a kitten, but he died in 2012 just after Hurricane Sandy. The cat on the couch is my parents' cat in Virginia, who lived with me for a few weeks while my parents were renovating. The dark photo depicting fur and legs is movie night with my friends' pitbulls Bella and Karma, curled up on top of me. The last photo is of the condo where I live, with ample space to walk around and explore without having to walk near busy highways. I'm currently not owned by any feline or canine furbuddies, so if your dog comes to visit, there will be no competition.
