To tell you a little bit about myself, I’ve recently graduated from San José State University where I received a BS in Biology, Systems Physiology. However, my end-goal is to receive my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, which I hope to apply to in the next year or so. I have been working in veterinary medicine as a vet assistant for the past 3 1/2 years where I have gained experience in handling, and administering of oral and injectable medications, first-aid, general emergency care, and much more! Prior to working in a hospital setting, I had the opportunity of working in the pet-boarding/daycare industry. This experience allowed me to work alongside an array of cats and dogs of different breeds, sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. On the side, I enjoy being a sitter for Rover where I can provide owners’ pets my personal flare of affection and attention while ensuring their overall care and health is maintained.
