Pet care experience
**I do NOT offer services in Canada, although my range states that (I truly just can’t figure out how to adjust it. Ha!). I offer services in the areas North of Detroit (Troy, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, St. Clair Shores, Mt. Clemens, etc.)** For 8 years I was a lead Vet Tech at a very busy, well known Vet Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. In addition, I would pet sit multiple pets daily. I had over 20 regular clients that I cared for over the years. From regular feedings, giving medications, walks, playtime, day care drop off/pick up and over night stays. I have years of experience in the veterinary field, and can give all medications types, including subcutaneous fluids and injections for our diabetic fur babes. If you are also in need of any toe nail trims (cats/dogs) or expression of anal glands for dogs, I am available to do that for a small fee. I have two dogs of my own, they are my babies! Most people who know me would tell you my love for animals is out of this world! I recently just moved to Michigan from Buffalo, NY. During my time in Buffalo I worked in the Social Work field while also maintaining multiple pet sitting clients, many with daily stops. I am currently pursuing my Masters degree in Social Work at MSU online, and am looking to pet sit daily while I am not working on school. I have no children myself, and currently am working a part time job. This makes my schedule pretty flexible, however I do work varying 5-6 hr shifts on different days. I will do my best to work my schedule around yours, and am always transparent about what I have going on as tj make sure it works for you and your fur baby! I do everything I can to handle last minute requests. I am a reliable, and willing to help you out the best I can when it comes to your pets. I pride myself in treating your pet like family, and enjoy taking care of them as much as I would my own. I send adorable pictures, and videos during my stops to show you your pet while you’re away (Theres nothing better then pictures when your missing your fur babies!?). Meghan is the absolute best! With less than 24 hours notice she was willing and able to help me with a drop-in to see my 5yr old Pit. She always sends the cutest photos and videos. She really knows how to care for him and it makes my heart so full!!
Meghan is a gem, she took such great care of Levi while I was gone for over a week. She is communicative and sent updates and photos multiple times per day. As a complete bonus I came home to a clean house and washed sheets which was above and beyond. Thanks for taking such good care of my girl!
Meghan is a total gem of a human and Rover. She was absolutely incredible with my Pit Bull Floyd. I received consistent communication and some of the most beautiful photos (and silly videos) of my baby while I was out of town. If you're looking for someone who really *gets it* look no further. 10/10 would recommend Meghan! She remembered every little detail and then some <3
Meghan has been both a dog walker and a dog sitter for my two dogs - whenever I’m out of town for short or long trips. It’s so reassuring to know they’re being well cared for, and - most importantly - loved in my absence! Meghan is fantastic about sending pics, videos, and frequent updates. She’s also very capable of feeding/medicating pets properly, and was always so accommodating of the schedule my dogs were used to. When Meghan’s watching my girls I never have anything to worry about :) I can’t recommend her highly enough!
