Hello!! I was a dog groomer for nearly ten years, and a pet owner my entire life. I've owned dogs, cats, small animals, and some happy fish. I spent some time in South Africa caring for orphaned primates, though I'm not sure how much use that will be here in the city :) I'm currently living with two dogs who I love as though they were my own, but I always want more furry friends! When I was young I wanted to be a veterinarian, but when my childhood dog got cancer I realized I wasn't made for surgeries and sutures. I've found I can still continue my passion for working with animals on another level, and grooming dogs has shown me I can deal with minor wounds and ailments. My grandmother's dog has diabetes, so I've also been trained to administer her insulin shots. As a dog sitter I will not be able to care for your dog in my home. But don't worry! It will be less stressful for your furry friend to be in his or her own space, and safer. :) We'll be able to enjoy relaxing (or more sporty) walks around your neighborhood.
