Pet care experience
My love for animals began at a very early age. There hasn’t been a time in my life when pets weren’t a part of it. Pets are my passion! I am the proud owner of a rescued Padderdale Terrier, named Keno, along with a 4 year-old female Vizsla named Tikka. She is a hunter and the most gentle, sweet girl ever. My husband and I just recently bred Tikka and she had 7 beautiful Puppies…we kept 2 of the girls, Tilly and Roo, who are both 6 months old. Outside of my full-time career as the Director of Family Services for the Alzheimer's Association, my husband and I own a lure chasing business in Erie that is run on the weekends at the Boneyard park. We love to not only meet people in the community but we enjoy providing their dogs with plenty of mental & physical exercise all while having fun. I am originally from Michigan (go STATE) , which is where my love of the water began! I also enjoy running, playing tennis, boating and camping with friends, and am an abode MSU college football and basketball fan!!

Meghan was such a lifesaver! She helped out when my flight was delayed and helped me problem solve the times to walk my 10 month old puppy multiple times! The pics she sent were great, put my mind at ease while in stressful traveling mode. I’d definitely use her again as my pup was happy when I finally got home and she was reliable!
Love seeing the smiles and knowing she’s safe! A much needed break when daddies away! Definitely recommend!

I have a large fenced in front and back yard in old town Erie! I also have 4 extremely friendly dogs at home to keep your pups company if needed. Because my husband and I work from home, Our dogs have access to the yard throughout the entire day and so they have a lot of freedom to explore.
Information Meghan D. would like to know about your pet
I am open to all breeds. I would like to know if there are any diet and or exercise restrictions as well as what your emergency protocol for your dog is and what your wishes are should something happen. What are your dogs health needs (prescriptions, medication administration, etc) and if they are ok to socialize with other dogs or is more shy and nervous when exposed to other dogs or new people.
A typical day
I am located in Old Town Erie surrounded by open space, trails and the Boneyard dog park. I also love to go for runs if your dog is up for it. I ran track in college and you can find me running almost everyday. I am also a water girl and grew up on a lake and would love to take your dog to a pet friendly beach (Union reservoir for example). My yard is also big enough to set up the lure and run your dog.

Both my husband and I work from home full-time and this allows me to have a have a very flexible schedule to care for your beloved furballs!
