Pet care experience
I have always had a soft spot in my heart for animals. I grew up with many pets in my home and currently have a dog and 2 cats, all of whom are adopted. I am the director of a foster based dog rescue, Is Today My Day Rescue, and am experienced with dogs of all ages, sizes, many breeds, temperaments, and abilities. I dog-sit for family friends regularly, caring for their pets in the comfort of their homes. Skills I have experience with include how to properly use various collars (flat, martingale, pinch), administering shots and oral medication, how to handle shy/scared dogs, and proper precautions for handling aggressive dogs. I love dogs of all kinds and would love to offer my services to you and your four legged friend!

Does your dog have any aggression issues? Does your dog get along with other dogs? Does your dog get along with people? If your dog has issues in any of these areas, I am willing to work with them, I just need to know what to look out for. Are you a member at any local dog parks? If so, we can go to the park while you are away! I am able to care for dogs of all breeds and ages, but the gentle giants have a special spot in my heart!
A typical day
When it is time for a walk, your dog and I will take a nice stroll around the neighborhood. If you have a fenced in yard, we can play games like fetch and soccer. If you are a member at a local dog park, we can take a trip to the dog park and play with other pups as well. If you have more of a couch potato, I also love to lounge on the couch and give an endless supply of snuggles.
