Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I have experience walking, caring for, and training my own 4 dogs of various breeds from puppy to senior. I also have experience in training high energy, anxious dogs, as well as ones that are stubborn and difficult on leash. Neighbors and friends have also relied on me to house sit, drop-in and walk their dogs while they were away.

Meghan was great house sitting our dog for a second time. She communicated well before and during her booking and we felt very reassured that our pup was being well looked after.
It was wonderful having Meghan dog sit for us, our foster dog loved her right away and Meghan was very attentive and caring with her. We even got some lovely photo updates. Would highly recommend.
Meghan was great with them. She was able to come at the last minute. She was a lifesaver. Even though she had not met them prior, I would definitely use her again. Highly recommend !
Meghan walks my 2 boxers regularly and also on occasion has spent the night to care for them while we were away. She is very caring and attentive. Our youngest is only a little over a year old and Meghan handles him extremely well. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

I love spending as much time with my pets, or my client’s pets, as possible. I love playing with them inside or outside, and cuddling up when it’s time to relax. If training, I always bring plenty of bite-sized treats with me to reward them, especially when training new puppies to walk on a leash. I am also sure to bring plenty of plastic baggies to pick up after the dogs while on our walk, and I have a portable water bowl for hot days when a water break may be needed while out.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should be aware of. If they prefer slower or quicker paced walks, or what some of their favorite games are would also be good to know, as well as any commands they know or you would like me to try and teach them for some mental stimulation.
A typical day
I like to go on walks either around my neighborhood or to a park in town on the trails. Depending on the dog, I like to run around with them and/or play fetch. For some mental stimulation, I like to have them practice basic commands like sit and lie down, or for some, fun tricks like paw or roll over.

Availability
I’m currently working part time, but am available any day of the week. On days I am scheduled for my other job and it isn't a full day, I reduce the number of slots I have open and am generally available after 1p.
