Pet care experience
I've always been a dog person. My family has always had multiple dogs at a time. At a very young age I was caring for them; walking them, feeding them, and picking up after them was my responsibility and I loved it. My mother breed both German Short Haired Pointers and Chocolate Labradors so I am very used to dealing with rambunctious puppies and breaking bad habits, as well as soothing their stressed out mother. I first professionally joined the dog industry in 2016 working first as dog handler/kennel tech, before becoming lead kennel tech. I own two dogs myself– both rescues. She is an Aussie/Setter mix, an extremely high. When I rescued Pufferoni at almost four years old she was not potty trained, growled at most humans and snapped at every dog she met. Knowadays she spends her days at work with me surrounded by up to thirty-five other dogs, no longer destroying anything she can and genuinely enjoying the presence of other dogs. Dogs are my passion. Their happiness is my happiness.

Meghan did such an amazing job! This was a long time for me to be away from my dog and I was so nervous about it. She made me feel so relieved both by reassuring me personally, but even more-so by connecting and with Belle and giving her the most loving top-notch care. She really made it so both Belle and I had a positive experience. It was hard for Belle to be away from me to, but Meghan made it so Belle not only survived, but thrived. She gave her such good attention and really connected with her. Meghan is a dog-lover and it shows. Belle even lost some weight from exercising and came out healthier from it! Meghan is a true gem!
We had the most fantastic experience with Meghan and Nick. They were amazing hosts and pals to our high-energy velcro dog. Meghan she sent us so many gorgeous photos of our aussie hiking, swimming, playing and cuddling with Puff, their sweet pup who seemed like she'd get along with absolutely everyone. Meghan was so kind and accommodating, with an early AM drop off, a pretty involved breakfast routine, and a dog that wakes you up early. It's clear that this couple sincerely loves dogs. 10/10 would love to book again!
Kona had a wonderful time with Meghan! She got several "field trips" to some of her favorite outdoor locations. She seemed very happy when she came home, and the pictures Meghan sent were of Kona doing what she loves best! Highly recommend.
Meghan was so wonderful. As a fellow Rover dog-sitter, I understand the unease at dealing with housing and/or other pet ownership issues, and I have a bit of a weird housing situation with several other dogs on the property. She was willing, open, and flexible to work with me on a situation that suited Rio and my needs. Further, she took him for wonderful hikes with her dog as if he was her own. Lastly, when she took very prompt notice that Rio was perhaps not eating as much as he should be, she offered me very functional solutions to the problems and gave me feedback on how he responded to those solutions. Cannot thank her enough, and will definitely be back in touch when and if I require another sitter.
